Hai anak Adam, pakailah pakaianmu yang indah di setiap (memasuki) mesjid, makan dan minumlah, dan janganlah berlebih-lebihan. Sesungguhnya Allah tidak menyukai orang-orang yang berlebih-lebihan.
O children of Adam! attend to your embellishments at every time of prayer, and eat and drink and be not extravagant; surely He does not love the extravagant.
O Kinder Adams, habt eine gepflegte Erscheinung an jeder Gebetsst�tte, und esset und trinkt, doch �berschreitet (dabei) das Ma� nicht; wahrlich, Er liebt nicht diejenigen, die nicht ma�halten.

Sesungguhnya dalam penciptaan langit dan bumi, silih bergantinya malam dan siang, bahtera yang berlayar di laut membawa apa yang berguna bagi manusia, dan apa yang Allah turunkan dari langit berupa air, lalu dengan air itu Dia hidupkan bumi sesudah mati (kering) -nya dan Dia sebarkan di bumi itu segala jenis hewan, dan pengisaran angin dan awan yang dikendalikan antara langit dan bumi; Sungguh (terdapat) tanda-tanda (keesaan dan kebesaran Allah) bagi kaum yang memikirkan.
Most surely in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day, and the ships that run in the sea with that which profits men, and the water that Allah sends down from the cloud, then gives life with it to the earth after its death and spreads in it all (kinds of) animals, and the changing of the winds and the clouds made subservient between the heaven and the earth, there are signs for a people who understand.
Wahrlich, im Erschaffen der Himmel und der Erde und im Wechsel von Nacht und Tag und in den Schiffen, die im Meer fahren mit dem, was den Menschen n�tzt, und in dem, was Allah vom Himmel an Wasser herniedersandte und Er gab der Erde damit Leben, nachdem sie tot war und lie� auf ihr allerlei Getier sich ausbreiten und im Wechsel der Winde und den dienstbaren Wolken zwischen Himmel und Erde, (in all dem) sind Zeichen f�r Leute, die begreifen.

Dan Dia telah menciptakan binatang ternak untuk kamu; padanya ada (bulu) yang menghangatkan dan berbagai-bagai manfaat, dan sebagiannya kamu makan. Dan kamu memperoleh pandangan yang indah padanya, ketika kamu membawanya kembali ke kandang dan ketika kamu melepaskannya ke tempat penggembalaan.
And He created the cattle for you; you have in them warm clothing and (many) advantages, and of them do you eat. And there is beauty in them for you when you drive them back (to home), and when you send them forth (to pasture).
Und das Vieh hat Er erschaffen, ihr habt an ihm W�rme und Nutzen; und davon esset ihr. Und es ist sch�n f�r euch, wenn ihr (es) abends eintreibt und morgens austreibt.

Mother and Daughter - Al Ahqaaf [46]:15

Kami perintahkan kepada manusia supaya berbuat baik kepada dua orang ibu bapaknya, ibunya mengandungnya dengan susah payah, dan melahirkannya dengan susah payah (pula). Mengandungnya sampai menyapihnya adalah tiga puluh bulan, sehingga apabila dia telah dewasa dan umurnya sampai empat puluh tahun ia berdoa: "Ya Tuhanku, tunjukilah aku untuk mensyukuri nikmat Engkau yang telah Engkau berikan kepadaku dan kepada ibu bapakku dan supaya aku dapat berbuat amal yang saleh yang Engkau ridai; berilah kebaikan kepadaku dengan (memberi kebaikan) kepada anak cucuku. Sesungguhnya aku bertobat kepada Engkau dan sesungguhnya aku termasuk orang-orang yang berserah diri".
And We have enjoined on man doing of good to his parents; with trouble did his mother bear him and with trouble did she bring him forth; and the bearing of him and the weaning of him was thirty months; until when he attains his maturity and reaches forty years, he says: My Lord! grant me that I may give thanks for Thy favor which Thou hast bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may do good which pleases Thee and do good to me in respect of my offspring; surely I turn to Thee, and surely I am of those who submit.
Und Wir haben dem Menschen anbefohlen, gegen seine Eltern g�tig zu sein. Seine Mutter trug ihn mit Widerwillen, und mit Widerwillen brachte sie ihn zur Welt. Und ihn zu tragen und ihn zu entw�hnen erfordert drei�ig Monate, bis er dann, wenn er seine Vollkraft erlangt und vierzig Jahre erreicht hat, sagt: "Mein Herr, sporne mich an, dankbar zu sein f�r Deine Gnade, die Du mir und meinen Eltern erwiesen hast, und (sporne mich an,) Rechtes zu wirken, das Dir wohlgefallen mag. Und la� mir meine Nachkommenschaft rechtschaffen sein. Siehe, ich wende mich zu Dir; und ich bin einer der Gottergebenen."

A View From The Top - Al Fushshilat [41]: 37

Dan sebagian dari tanda-tanda kekuasaan-Nya ialah malam, siang, matahari dan bulan. Janganlah bersujud kepada matahari dan janganlah (pula) kepada bulan, tetapi bersujudlah kepada Allah Yang menciptakannya, jika kamu hanya kepada-Nya saja menyembah.
And among His signs are the night and the day and the sun and the moon; do not prostrate to the sun nor to the moon; and prostrate to Allah Who created them, if Him it is that you serve.
Und zu Seinen Zeichen geh�ren die Nacht und der tag und die Sonne und der Mond. Werft euch nicht vor der Sonne anbetend nieder, und auch nicht vor dem Mond, sondern werft euch anbetend vor Allah nieder, Der sie erschuf, wenn Er es ist, Den ihr verehrt.

Allah tidak membebani seseorang melainkan sesuai dengan kesanggupannya. Ia mendapat pahala (dari kebajikan) yang diusahakannya dan ia mendapat siksa (dari kejahatan) yang dikerjakannya. (Mereka berdo'a): "Ya Tuhan kami, janganlah Engkau hukum kami jika kami lupa atau kami tersalah. Ya Tuhan kami, janganlah Engkau bebankan kepada kami beban yang berat sebagaimana Engkau bebankan kepada orang-orang yang sebelum kami. Ya Tuhan kami, janganlah Engkau pikulkan kepada kami apa yang tak sanggup kami memikulnya. Beri ma'aflah kami; ampunilah kami; dan rahmatilah kami. Engkaulah Penolong kami, maka tolonglah kami terhadap kaum yang kafir."
Allah does not impose upon any soul a duty but to the extent of its ability; for it is (the benefit of) what it has earned and upon it (the evil of) what it has wrought: Our Lord! do not punish us if we forget or make a mistake; Our Lord! do no lay on us a burden as Thou didst lay on those before us, Our Lord do not impose upon us that which we have not the strength to bear; and pardon us and grant us protection and have mercy on us, Thou art our Patron, so help us against the unbelieving people.
Allah erlegt keiner Seele mehr auf, als sie zu leisten vermag. Ihr kommt (nur) zu, was sie verdient hat, und angelastet wird ihr (nur), was sie verdient hat. "Unser Herr, belange uns nicht, wenn wir (etwas) vergessen oder einen Fehler begehen. Unser Herr, lege uns keine B�rde auf, wie Du sie denjenigen vor uns auferlegt hast. Unser Herr, b�rde uns nichts auf, wozu wir keine Kraft haben. Verzeihe uns, vergib uns und erbarme Dich unser! Do bist unser Schutzherr. So verhilf uns zum Sieg �ber das ungl�ubige Volk!".

Fisherman - Al Maa-idah [5]: 96

Dihalalkan bagimu binatang buruan laut dan makanan (yang berasal) dari laut sebagai makanan yang lezat bagimu, dan bagi orang-orang yang dalam perjalanan; dan diharamkan atasmu (menangkap) binatang buruan darat, selama kamu dalam ihram. Dan bertakwalah kepada Allah yang kepada-Nyalah kamu akan dikumpulkan.
Lawful to you is the game of the sea and its food, a provision for you and for the travellers, and the game of the land is forbidden to you so long as you are on pilgrimage, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, to Whom you shall be gathered.
Erlaubt sind euch die Jagdtiere des Meeres und (all) das Essbare aus ihm als Niessbrauch f�r euch und f�r die Reisenden; doch verboten ist euch die Jagd auf die Landtiere, solange ihr im Zustand der Pilgerweihe seid. Und f�rchtet Allah, zu Dem ihr versammelt werdet.

The End of The Day - An Nahl [16]: 12

Dan Dia menundukkan malam dan siang, matahari dan bulan untukmu. Dan bintang-bintang itu ditundukkan (untukmu) dengan perintah-Nya. Sesungguhnya pada yang demikian itu benar-benar ada tanda-tanda (kekuasaan Allah) bagi kaum yang memahami (nya).
And He has made subservient for you the night and the day and the sun and the moon, and the stars are made subservient by His commandment; most surely there are signs in this for a people who ponder;
Und Er hat euch die Nacht und den Tag, die Sonne und den Mond dienstbar gemacht; und (auch) die Sterne sind durch Seinen Befehl dienstbar gemacht worden. Darin sind wahrlich Zeichen f�r Leute, die begreifen.

The Bee - An Nahl [16]: 68-69

Dan Tuhanmu mewahyukan kepada lebah: "Buatlah sarang-sarang di bukit-bukit, di pohon-pohon kayu, dan di tempat-tempat yang dibikin manusia. Kemudian makanlah dari tiap-tiap (macam-macam) buah-buahan dan tempuhlah jalan Tuhanmu yang telah dimudahkan (bagimu)". Dari perut lebah itu keluar minuman (madu) yang bermacam-macam warnanya, di dalamnya terdapat obat yang menyembuhkan bagi manusia. Sesungguhnya pada yang demikian itu benar-benar terdapat tanda (kebesaran Tuhan) bagi orang-orang yang memikirkan.
And your Lord revealed to the bee saying: Make hives in the mountains and in the trees and in what they build. Then eat of all the fruits and walk in the ways of your Lord submissively. There comes forth from within it a beverage of many colours, in which there is a healing for men; most surely there is a sign in this for a people who reflect.
Und dein Herr hat der Biene eingegeben: "Nimm dir in den Bergen H�user, in den B�umen und in dem, was sie an Spalieren errichten. Hierauf iss von allen Fr�chten, ziehe auf den Wegen deines Herrn dahin, die (dir) geebnet sind". Aus ihren Leibern kommt ein Getr�nk von unterschiedlichen Farben, in dem Heilung f�r die Menschen ist. Darin ist wahrlich ein Zeichen f�r Leute, die nachdenken.
